Complexities of Life...

Complex is the very fabric of what binds us, people, together. Communications breakdowns happen so very discreetly and often that no one can ever predict it happening before the damage is done. It is not only I that have experienced such misfortunes but I am sure that many out there have their own share of the spoils too.

Nothing drastic or bad has happened to me; its just an "awakening" that I am experiencing now after probing deeper into the teachings for a morning lecture on "Communications Management" today. Well, communications breakdowns not only affect organisations but each and every individual as well. Everyone of us play a very important role in upkeeping and binding relationship ties no matter how small and insignificant it may seem to be.

A truly successful organisation lies on the fact that each entity in it is able to communicate and comprehend one another without any problems. Of course, communications with the various publics is important as well. In whatever case, public opinion is always king; be it in a political sense or a commercial one. (No angry citizen or consumer is ever to bring any good to the current constitution or products on sale.)

This theory, I feel, transcends all boundaries; by itself, becoming an important part of life. The ability to handle and keep a relationship going takes much skill and patience.

It's really quite interesting, esp the relationships part, and i was perusing the notes of my friend who's taking interpersonal communications as a module this sem... According to the readings, each relationship has a few stages, like attraction, ascendance, intimacy, plateau, deterioration and dissolution. Very very intriguing.. Communication is one key aspect of relationships.

Good luck with your relationships, bro!
