Pressure Cooker
Project deadlines are showing up like sores on my otherwise, neat schedules. Yes, they are just around the corner; 2-3 weeks to be exact. Decided to stay at home today to finish what I can; don't want to spend 2 hours on travelling, watching the lectures at home will be a much better option, for now. Exams are coming up too, its all a vicious cycle which happens every semester, to everyone. The sem starts on a rather slow pace for everyone; no one will mention anything about the dreaded project deadlines until after the mid term holidays. Its funny, seeing a dramatic change in the school atmosphere; people rushing to libraries to do research, lots of people in the study areas, its just cramped with people doing work! I am not excluded from this "cycle of life" though...The pressure is building up, the pot's ready for cooking, what is integral now are the ingredients that I put into the pot; I hope the end product will be a delicious one... I really hope so.

Hope springs eternal. But hope is not for those who sit by and wait for it to come. Hope is for he who strives to make the best out of every second, that he may not look back and regret that he could have done better.
That is why the choosing of the ingredients to put into the pot is such an integral part of the whole process. Whatever you choose will ultimately determine the end product. The "hope" here is just the waiting time, the period of time when there is no absolute answer.
