The "Experience" Society
Yeap, like a bee after honey, I am working non stop towards the unavoidable deadlines. Don't you just love them? Well... its no wonder I often neglect some stuff and things that I would usually do; if I have the time, that is.Everything will eventually come to an end; this semester, my first year, my singing lessons... Well, what matters most is the experience that you take with you. We are all living in an "experience" society, everything's about experience. Dining in a posh restaurant, hanging out with friends, the music you love, soccer matches on TV, being on MSN, your belongings, etc... You experience what you want to, no one's going to force you (alright, then you will say there's the army... that one's out... :p) to experience what you do not want to.
Think about it.

looks like all of you are really working very hard! i'm sure your results will be good.
good luck and continue to work harder~
Pardon my ignorance for the knowledge that bees do not go after honey.
In fact, I am pretty much empowered with the knowledge that bees produce honey through the nectar they collect from flora.
Figure of speech... Heard of this before?
juz taking a dig at you!! haha. :p
the main point is from the 2nd para onwards.. hohoho.
What if we have all been dreaming? What if all that were needed was a show of defiance. To work against the pre-defined order of things, to infuriate the higher-order. To put the conformists in pain & the architect in anger and confusion.
Maybe, all we really need, afterall, is just to be allowed to wake up.
You are beginning to sound like Descartes in the Meditations...
I dun really think u guys dare to challenge the norm.
On the other hand, i think Kenneth's coping very well with his life now, therefore i am sure he can finish it with a good bang!
The first year is always a rush, after that life tends to slow down.
Keep it up, pal~
Defiance... Everyone is defiant in some way or another. Just as everything is relative. By studying, you are defying the naysayers who predict your academic downfall. By not studying, you give in to those but feel as if you are making a statement against the rigid norms of society. I would rather rebel against myself. It is the only way I would learn of which make I am. Diamonds are formed under massive pressure. Ore becomes Gold only after repeated melting-down. By pushing and defying your inertia, you ultimately gain.
Rebelling against yourself, is like working within the system.
