A New Year...
A new year brings about new resolutions for most people; a time to sit down and ponder on what one has done for the year that has just past. What have we done right and wrong; what we could have done better? We all make mistakes and we have come to accept them as part and parcel of life; what we can actually do is to prevent ourselves from committing them again in the new year. After all the celebrations have died down, I began to wonder, what have I acheived in the year that has just passed. I remember something that my music instructor once told me which I try to keep in mind whenever and wherever; "No matter what you are doing, make sure that your mind is tuned to the right channel, with the correct mindset, anything is possible." I think that our mindset is an integral part that seperates success from failure, with a correct mindset comes confidence and determination and with that, success will most likely follow.
What about you? What have you achieved and are going to achieve in this new year?

mmmmmm
besides achievements, we shud also look at how much we enjoyed e prev yr and see how to improve the level of enjoyment this yr!
hahaha, dunno if u get it or not. the scope is veri veri veri wide though.
I would prefer to see achievements as any and everything that you have done and have enjoyed doing over the last year. Seeking joy in doing things is not enough, instead, one should aspire to do things that would bring about more opportunities for future joy.
The scope as you have mentioned is indeed wide; a virtue that would benefit all would be to look a bit more into the future when making your decisions on what to do and achieve. I do hope that you have gotten them laid out for this new year. :) Many cheers to a joyful and meaningful 2006!
