The Truth Hurts...

Sometimes I wonder to myself; are liars more successful and blessed people than those who are honest? Well, they always seem to be a whole lot more cheerful and happy with the people around them. Perhaps telling the truth really hurts, so much so that it pushes its victims to the edge of the cliff. A little lie won't hurt? Although my philosophy on life will certainly not condone to that, somehow, I feel that it does make some sense after all. Am I weak, or am I just another victim of today's ruthless societal "truth"; the "truth" that the honest (= weak) get all the blame while the liar (= winners) get all the best.

After some thought and advice from my dear friends, I feel that we should be honest lest you want all those lies to pile up and squeeze you to death :)

The ghosts of the past always returns to haunt the present; collect none and you shall have none visiting in the future...

-gives this ball a kick in the ass-*wham!*

lol, in definition, lying is not telling the truth right? what about not telling some details, will that constitute lying?

that's the trick i can suggest =p

wahaha, i'm SMU winning eleven champion~~ let's play after the term ends!!

anyway in this world, it makes sense to be honest to those who have been honest to you and dishonest to those who have been dishonest to you.

try reading Rawlsian ethics and see if they help. Kant will say NO to lying.

Wahahaha, that was a pretty nice whack in the ass man. Do unto others what you would want others to do unto you... the darn golden rule of ethics do work wonders some times.

Congrats for you winning the competition! I do hope you are enjoying yourself at the moment.

I'm just doing some random ranting over here. Been some time since I last posted anything decent :p

I'm getting along fine now, lest the projects and tests popping up ever so often these days. Its crunch time for a lot of us I would say.

Will take a look at Rawlsian ethics someday when I am free :)

Take care buddy!

Lying is good, as long as you're true to yourself.

Try wrapping your head around that!

Did someone say winning eleven? Heh. I am game. Kennyboy, come on! Let's do it!
