Illusions...

Many times have chance eluded us, many times have we been deluded. What we take for granted may not be there for long. The necessary may not be as necessary as it seems to be and the perils may not seem as perilous as we think them out to be.

The week has been a torrentious one, with assigments the size of meteorites raining down relentlessly unto my schedule. It has been but the most tedious and taxing of semesters that I have ever been through for the whole 1 and a 1/2 years of varsity life. No, I am not complaining but sharing with you my experiences.

Although filming for one of the assigments is done, it is because of careful planning and precise execution that managed to bring the shoot through unscathed. The weather has been kind to us, and for that, I am indeed grateful. A seemingly tight and impossible deadline of 3 weeks has been bestowed to us to finish an entire music video from audio recording to shooting and editing. However hard this seems, we have managed to conquer part of it; the summit seems near now. However, just over the horizon lies another daunting task for us to undertake. A deadline of 1 month is all that seperates us from life and death for the creation of a short film. Through past experiences, the time of a month is not enough to create a short film that is fit for watching; but I guess we'll have to make do with whatever we have.

Ripples on the surface of the sea tells not of the currents that runs underneath; a smile on the face signals not the emotions of the heart. Grab whatever comes by and proceed with your heart; feel before you do.

Lunar New Year

I've been gorging myself silly over the past 3 to 4 days. It has been interesting to note that I have been telling myself not to gorge on food like there's no tomorrow; however, the subconscious me just carried on eating while I pondered on... :( More swimming sessions for me then...

This new year has gone by extremely fast, well, with the sudden increase in the number of red packets too (not a bad thing after all!). School's going to start tomorrow and here I am, going through the readings for tomorrow's lectures. Tommorrow's going to be another long day... 12pm to 9pm... somebody help me? heheh...

My brains went on vacation during the 3 days of chinese new year; yup, no deep thought process going inside my cranial cavity... what a way to relax and enjoy the holidays. :) I went over to Sentosa yesterday and took part in a photography competition; to my horror, one of my selected entries came out under-exposed... darn, oh well, at least my other 2 entries were "acceptable", by my standards of course... :)

Back to work then... Take care and enjoy whatever remnants of Chinese New Year that's left! (15 days you know... that leaves another 11 days of festive joy!)
